historical charm near parks and local eateries in honolulu
I had a delightful stay in a historic B&B that offered a cozy atmosphere and was just less than a 5-minute walk to lush parks and some local eateries like the famous Ba-Le Sandwich Shop which is perfect for quick bites and a stroll around the area, coupled with the tranquility of the space, it made for a relaxing getaway as I explored nearby attractions like the Honolulu Museum of Art just under 3 km away. however, the breakfast could use a bit more variety and attentiveness from staff, but overall, I enjoyed the unique experience.

However, the unpleasant odor throughout the property was quite off-putting.

We enjoyed our stay in a spacious King Suite with a lovely sitting area, which was a great touch, and the pancakes at breakfast were delicious! Relaxing by the sun terrace and enjoying the vibrant garden area made our mornings so peaceful. The staff was friendly, though they could use a little more training in hospitality, but it didn't take away from our experience at all. 😊

Historic charm fills every corner, right down to the unique Victorian furnishings and cozy communal areas. The garden is a peaceful oasis, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
Some cleanliness issues popped up. I noticed dust and cobwebs in a few spots that detracted from the overall appeal. Parking can get tight—definitely not spacious enough for larger vehicles, which might be a hassle for some. Also, the shower facilities felt outdated, with low water pressure and a hose instead of a proper head, so those looking for a more modern setup might not find it here.

Had an awesome time with friends! The gardens were stunning, and we enjoyed snorkeling and surfing nearby. The staff was welcoming and made our stay comfortable. Just a heads up, the parking can be tight, so having a compact car is a good idea. Definitely recommend checking out some of the beautiful local spots.
During our stay, the cleanliness of the room was a bit off, with insects present and a strange smell. It was a little disappointing.
